On the third day of the project the head of the museum of Jewish culture and history Mykola Kushnir and the participants of project went to the former ghetto territory to look for the traces of the tragic events. They visited the monument to victims of Chernivtsi ghetto, the old synagogue, and the place, where once the entrance to the ghetto was. The young journalists interviewed a few pedestrians to find out if and what they know about the ghetto history.
After visiting the ghetto, the project team met a local photographer, who gave them a master-class on how to use a video drone and what kind of video they can make with its help.
In the afternoon, the participants and the project team discussed the ideas of the final microprojects and the technical nuances of their implementation. The participants were divided into two groups. The group team decided to create a digital story with a timeline of the major historic events from the establishment of the ghetto to the final deportations of the Jewish population. The other group chose to make a podcast about a young Jewish poetess Selma Meerbaum who was deported and died in the concentration camp.
